Working within the eBay department, this role supports the preparation and listing of stock items for eBay and Amazon. If you are hard working and determined then we want to hear from you!
Duties Will Include
Liaising with the Donation and Distribution Centre Manager and DDC Teams to ensure that items of potential value are transported to and from the eBay Office in a safe and timely manner with all necessary paperwork and labelling
Ensure that all items are stored safely within the eBay Office
Ensure that all Gift Aid is claimed on items which are eligible for Gift Aid.
Log and record items of value which are located away from the eBay Office. Ensure any external company (such as auction houses
Identify items suitable for specialist auctions, informing the eBay Manager
List, monitor and update online sales items as directed
Ensure all sold items are packed appropriately and mailed within the set postage timescales
Promote "eBay for charity" and monitor items listed by supporters, thanking them where appropriate
Ensure all items are listed/advertised for sale with a suitable item description and are photographed in a way to best showcase their worth
Maintain a positive working relationship with key members of the finance department, adhering to financial procedures and guidelines
Keep up to date with and share best practices and new developments within online sales.
Maintain accurate sales records ensuring that files and personal information is compliant with data protection/information governance
Through the appraisal process, agree individual objectives and develop a personal development plan
Completed all required coursework for the Apprenticeship role
Develop new skills as required
Build and maintain relationships with external groups, including auction companies.

The successful candidate will study a Level 2 qualification in Retail. This will be aided by an Assessor who will carry out all assessments as work based learning, within the workplace.
