No.26 Makers Emporium run by Rotherham Apprentices
No.26 Makers Emporium is an exciting retail space showcasing handmade products by local crafters, designers and artists. It is run by Rotherham apprentices working towards their retail qualifications with The Source.
The store is a partnership between Rotherham Council, The Source and Rotherham Youth Enterprise which opened in April 2014 as part of the rejuvenation of Rotherham High Street.
Since opening, the Makers Emporium has supported of 122 local makers and businesses. No.26 has also helped over 8 apprentices through their apprenticeship, allowing them to progress successfully into full time employment. No.26 Apprentices have gone on to be shortlisted and won awards, including the Rotherham Retail Awards Rising Star 2015 award.

We stock lovely gifts and goodies made by talented local makers; from cards and candles to local inspired artwork and more, that you won't necessarily find anywhere else - all at affordable prices”
No.26 offers a unique shopping experience for Rotherham shoppers and aims to be an ‘Independent Alternative’ by offering a range of locally produced and hand-made items.
Currently there are more than 50 different makers populating the shop with an array of unique products including jewellery, home-ware, clothing, accessories, gifts, textiles, artwork & much, much more!
