For 15 years The Source has provided employers with a range of training solutions and apprenticeships to suit their industry and their unique needs, both at a national and regional level.
To make sure the organisation continues to provide a top-class service to all employers and apprentices, the company will be undertaking an organisational restructure so that it can better utilise staff across its provision.
This restructure will allow the team to respond better to and meet the demands of the sector as well as giving the company the flexibility to navigate the changing economic and political landscape.
It is an ongoing process and will begin with a consultation with staff over the next few weeks. Any staffing changes will be communicated to employers before changes are brought into effect.
Tricia Smith, CEO of The Source, said: “This is a decision that has not been taken lightly. For a number of reasons, the sector has changed and the Source needs to assess its workings to make sure we have an effective business model that best meets the needs of those we work with. We are working with staff to ensure they are kept up to date with developments.
“The Source is a not-for-profit charity organisation, and our goal is to ensure the organisation is sustainable so that we can continue serving our local community.
“I would like to reassure all our partners and stakeholders that we are committed to maintaining our high standards and would like to ensure you there will be minimal disruption to the service you receive.”
