The Source Launches New Apprenticeship Programmes

Authored on 2 May 2019

Sheffield based training provider, The Source, is expanding its offering of apprenticeships into two new sectors: Health and Social Care, and Digital.

The range of new Digital apprenticeship programmes allows students to develop in more specialised areas such as Software Development, leading to roles within IT teams or as programmers. The Level 3 Software Development Technician lasts for around 18 months, providing learners with skills in Javascript and PHP software along with many others.

Meanwhile, the new Health and Social Care apprenticeships aim to provide support to adult care. Available apprenticeship programmes include Level 2 Adult Care Worker and Level 3 Lead Adult Care Worker, both lasting 12 months and focus provision in care homes and services for adults.

Daniel Stanbra, Director of Operation at The Source, said: “We’re always looking to support businesses across the region by providing training in areas that can give them new opportunities for growth.

“Our teams work with employers to assess skills gaps, then work with managers to find the best solutions for them, either through apprenticeships or other training avenues.”

For those looking for apprenticeships in these areas, vacancies are now available online on The Source’s website.

Alternatively, you can contact the team on learnerengagementteam@thesourceacademy.co.uk or call 0114 263 5600 for further information.
