Are you interested in a career in retail within the building industry where you will be dealing with the general public, trade customers, on-line shoppers, manufacturing & engineering companies?
Duties Will Include:
* Receive deliveries into the store
* Check and store delivered items
* Check stock levels and replenish
* Place orders for new stock
* Deal with customers face to face on the trade counter and over the telephone
* Process invoices
* Raise delivery notes
* Operation of internal 'inspire' system
* Hard worker
* Engineering bias
* Good grasp of Maths and English
* Able to work as part of a sales team
* Good communication skills
* Good organisation skills
As part of the qualification the successful candidate will undertake meaningful project duties that have been agreed with the employer. The project duties are now a requirement of Trade Supplier Standard where the candidate will be supported throughout by their employer and work based learning tutor.
Hours and Wage:
40 Hours per Week. Mon-Fri 8-5 with 30 minutes for lunch (maximum 40 hours).
£188.00 Per Week
The Progression opportunities will be to grow with the business. The midterm plan is that an external salesperson will work for the business so this would be an option for the new apprentice.
The business is a local business based in Billington Lancashire selling welding machines and consumables, personal protection equipment, tools and workwear to the general public, trade customers, on-line shoppers, manufacturing & engineering companies and just about anyone who uses their products throughout the UK.
